5 Fold Orange Oil � Citrus aurantium dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil

Used primarily in perfumery, cosmetics and as flavouring in the food industry, 5 fold orange is more concentrated and has a richer, more intense aroma than the oil produced through simple expression.

The essential oil is expressed followed by fractional distillation to remove the monoterpene fraction (which have a low odour). While aromatherapy takes the view that the whole oil, including the odourless molecules, form part of the natural synergy, in perfumery and toiletries, removal of this fraction concentrates and therefore intensifies the aromatic quality.

Not for use in aromatherapy and is more suited to rinse-off formulas.
