Rice Bran Oil - Oryza Sativa Originating from the Americas, this is a light and emollient oil rich in vitamin E and in ferulic acid (antioxidant). It contains almost equal amounts of oleic and linoleic acids (40 per cent) and is fairly stable due its palmitic content (14 per cent). It is well known for its nourishing properties and may help to stimulate micro-circulation and cellular metabolsim, which may assist in preventing premature aging. It can also help to balance the skin's oil secretions and helps to absorb harmul UV rays. Use in creams, lotions and other formulations for both dry, mature and oily skins. Cold pressed and refined. |
