Camelina oil (also known as 'gold of pleasure') is very rich in omega 3 essential fatty acids, as well as linoleic and alpha-linoleic acids, which are at levels 10 times higher than many vegetable oils.  These acids cannot be manufactured by the body and is said to help repair cells and improve elasticity.  The oil is rich in tocopherols protecting it against oxidation and is therefore a very stable oil.

It has excellent moisturising and replenishing properties. The ease with which it can be spread, coupled with its lubrication properties, mean that it's ideal for use in lip care products as an alternative to sperm whale oil and shark oil.  Helps in the treatment of skin conditions such as eczema & psoriasis.

It is an ideal choice for mature or sensitive skin and can help provides protection to the hair follicles so is good to add to hair care formulations.

It is also oil with excellent nutritional properties and is therefore perfect for use in salad dressings and for cooking.
