Unlike Parafin Wax (a byproduct of the Petroleum Industry), soy is a natural product. It is clean burning and can burn up to 3 times longer than parafin. It has a lovely natural creamy colour and texture is furthermore our Ecosoya is pesticide and herbicide free as well as being completely GM free. It burns much cooler than other waxes so in the unlikely event that you spill some on yourself you won't burn your skin and it washes off in hot soapy water!

Ecosoya is also polymorphic - to you this means (in brief) that it is not unusual to see a 'bloom' on the wax or different textures - it is a reaction in the crystals as they cool. To keep this to a minimum we pour our wax at a low temperature in a nice warm room, but remember we are dealing with a natural product here and we LOVE the natural look - bloom and all! The only thing I will say is - don't leave wax melts or candles on your windowsill - they will soften and could melt if it gets hot enough!
